The Best Places to Visit at Dubai Creek Harbour

By Dubai Creek

Dubai is a city that needs no introduction. Just as the Eifel Tower signifies a gorgeous love letter to 19th century Europe, similarly Burj Khalifa will be remembered as a 21st century icon.

UAE is a country that is always making history. Just after 10 years after the Burj Khailfa, the tallest building of the world, a new amazing development, The Tower is excepted to surpass it.

Soon to be launched by Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, The Tower is an upcoming skyscraper at Dubai Creek Harbour that is set to be the tallest man-made structure in the world.

So other than The Tower, let’s see what other best places will be developed in the Dubai Creek Harbor.

Creek Marina

Creek Marina is located in the centre of Creek Island Dubai and is revealed as one of the world’s most premium developments. It is the perfect destination for people who love the marina lifestyle, and love the thrills of a setting sail.

Dubai Creek Harbour covers a total area of six kilometer featuring leisure and residential district. It is near the Dubai International Airport, Downtown Dubai, and amazing Burj Khalifa.

Creek Marina offers the residents and the visitors with a breadth of several lifestyle choices.  Creek Marina is set to be open in December 2018 and the preparations are going on to welcome the first residents in the Creek community.

At Creek Marina you discover, you explore, and discover a new way of living by the very soul and heart of the city, the historic Dubai Creek. The Creek Marina is situated opposite to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary which will feature soothing stretches of mangroves and famous pink flamingoes.

Dubai Creek Tower

Dubai Creek Tower is located at Dubai Creek Harbour and is inspired by traditional minarets and the lily flower. The iconic tower is a joint venture between Emaar Properties & Dubai Holding. It is also emphasized by more contemporary architectural lines, unlike anything anyone has seen before.

The Dubai Creek tower construction excellence, great vision, and innovation will add beauty to Dubai’s skyline and elevate the city’s position as a world-leading metropolis of the future. The Tower will be mainly used for sky gardens or observation decks. It will be comprised of 20 floors offering residences, restaurants, and hotels. The antenna on the peak will be used for broadcasting.

This record-breaking inclusion to Dubai real estate portfolio will be close to Dubai International Airport and will offer various enthralling observation decks that feature 360-degree views of Dubai Creek Harbour and the city beyond.

Dubai Creek Tower is elegantly designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava Valls one of the world’s best architect. The tower is estimated to be completed by Expo 2020.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

Dubai Creek Harbour is located next to the Ras Al Khor Wild life Sanctuary where the residents will have opportunity to view thousands of birds. Ras Al Khor is a wetland reserve for tens of thousands of birds including reef herons, cormorants, great egrets, sandpipers, black-winged stilts, grey herons, and much more.

It is spanning over 6kms and offers a variety of salt flats, mangroves, intertidal mudflats, and lagoons for the birds to use for individual habitats and their nests.

Ras Al Khor is known as the ‘Cape of the Creek’ and is easily protected and monitored by the Dubai Municipality. For residents and the guests there are three birds hides situated on the perimeter of the sanctuary which are free for everyone to access during daylight hours.

The Dubai Creek Mall

There seems to be an unspoken rule in the city of Dubai, always strive to achieve the best and most significant of everything. Dubai Creek mall is no exception to this rule. In a joint venture between Emaar and Dubai Holding, the new and biggest mall in the world will open its doors in the 4th quarter of 2020.

The current title holder for the world’s biggest mall is still, of course, Emaar’s very own Dubai mall with its 5.9 million sq. ft. of retail space. The current project is expected to have a total retail space of 8.07 million sq ft. This feat of architecture will include the most prominent fashion brands, restaurants, a vast 3D cinema complex, a fashion museum, VIP dressing rooms and most importantly will include family-friendly kids playing area.

The Dubai Creek mall will be in the heart of the Dubai Creek, close to the Dubai International Airport, and right next to The Tower.

Vida Hotel

Vida Hotel is located at Dubai Creek Harbour and will be the main attraction for the tourists. It is a 13 storey building with 275 rooms with an array of amenities including fitness and health centres, all day dining restaurants, events venues, and meet rooms.

The visitors and the guests will have easy access to a Marina and 4.5km long Creek Boardwalk that can berth yachts and varying sizes. The boardwalk will offer leisure, retail, event spaces, F&B outlets, water features and galleries.

With all this and more, Dubai Creek Harbour is set to be one of the most promising community in Dubai.
